Ⅰ. Storage Requirements
1. Warehouse Environment
Store in cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse; control ambient temperature ≤30℃, relative humidity below 75%. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat source, open fire and high-temperature equipment to avoid thermal decomposition of product.
2. Isolation Storage Rule
Strictly separate from all acid products, strong oxidants, lime and alkaline chemicals to prevent chemical reaction & caking.
Food & Feed Grade: Never stock together with toxic, harmful or peculiar-smelling goods to avoid cross contamination.
3. Stacking Specification
Place goods on wooden pallets, keep 10cm above ground and 30cm away from warehouse wall to block ground moisture penetration; orderly stacking, avoid overstocking and heavy compression breaking bags. Adopt FIFO (first in first out) inventory management.
4. Package & Shelf Life
Keep original package tightly sealed; once unpacked, finish usage as soon as possible. Sealed storage shelf life: 24 months; caked goods after damp can be crushed for normal application without quality deterioration.
Ⅱ. Transportation Specification
1. Packaging Standard for Shipment
Available packing: 25kg/50kg inner PE lined PP woven bag, 500kg/1000kg jumbo bag as customer’s request; all packages must be fully sealed without crack or leak.
2. Shipping Condition
Sodium bicarbonate is non-dangerous goods under IMDG/IATA/ADR, no UN shipping code required. Use dry, clean & waterproof truck/container; cover tarpaulin fully to prevent rain soaking and sun exposure during sea/land transit.
3. Loading & Unloading Operation
Handle gently, avoid dragging, hooking or sharp piercing to prevent package rupture and powder leakage; prohibit mixed loading with acid, toxic cargo together, especially for food-grade soda.
4. Container Loading Reference
20GP full container: around 27MT for 25kg bagged sodium bicarbonate.
